Kid Balanced Karate is the premier manners and character development program for today’s young children. Through proven methods, positive reinforcement and decades of experience, children learn manners, respect, focus while laughing till their heart’s content.

Safe, fun, and welcoming classes are held at your childcare center.

KBK holds a belt promotion ceremony at the end of the session resulting in a new belt/color! ($20 for belt and board to be paid for prior to the test) Your child gets to keep the belt as they move up the ranks!

Erik Bryant

Owner | Master Instructor

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Master Instructor Erik Bryant began his athletic career at a young age, diving into competitive gymnastics and competing throughout the Southeastern United States. His passion for sports also led him to participate in football, wrestling, and collegiate-level rugby.

While in college, Master Bryant discovered his love and fascination for martial arts. He began training in Okinawan Isshinryu Karate and American Combat Jiu-Jitsu, earning his black belt in these systems in 1999. Pursuing his passion, he continued his training and holds advanced instructor certifications in Filipino Martial Arts and Jeet Kune Do. His dedication to martial arts has taken him around the world, from Australia to Thailand, where he has trained and refined his skills.

With over 24 years of martial arts experience and 15 years of working with preschool-aged children, Master Bryant has developed a high-energy, engaging teaching style that is both educational and entertaining. His classes are not only informative but, most importantly, FUN for both kids and adults!

Our Story

At KBK we have been teaching and studying martial arts for over 20 years and specializing in teaching young children ages 3-6 for over 15 years. Our funny and entertaining style helps children learn self-confidence, discipline and respect for themselves and others. Helping Your Child Explore, Grow, & Learn

To join a class be sure to pick up our registration form at your child’s school. Each session is 8 weeks in length for $150. The age range is 3-5 years old.

What We Offer

Our Sessions

For ages 3-5 years old

We provide an engaging 8-week program with weekly classes held at your child's school. Our classes are designed to be informal, so there's no need for uniforms or traditional mat work, making the transition smooth for both kids and teachers before and after class. This structure not only simplifies the process for parents but also helps reduce costs and hassle. The fee for each session is $150 for the full 8 weeks, and there is an additional $20 for the belt promotion ceremony at the end, which allows your child to earn a new belt or color. This $20 covers the cost of the belt and board, which should be paid prior to the testing, and your child will keep their belt as they progress through the ranks.
